New Mexico High School Softball - Deming thwarted by Centennial

The Deming Wildcats softball team (Deming, NM), was routed 16-3 in Friday's league test with the visiting Centennial Hawks (Las Cruces, NM)
Coming up next, the Hawks encounter the Organ Mountain Knights (Las Cruces, NM) in a 5A District 3 test, on Monday, April 11. Centennial will attempt to improve on its 13-4 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 10-7 record after their 11-2 league loss to Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM).
The Wildcats (10-9) will now prepare for their test against Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM). The Trojans come into the 5A District 3 test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Mayfield was routed by Centennial (Las Cruces, NM), 11-7, in a league test.
