Chartiers Valley Colts (Bridgeville, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Upper St. Clair Panthers (Upper St. Clair, PA), 13-3 in a league challenge.

The Colts now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trinity for a WPIAL 5A 4 challenge on Monday, April 11. Chartiers Valley will face a Hillers squad coming off a 11-1 league win over South Fayette (McDonald, PA). The Hillers record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Upper St. Clair falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Peters Township (McMurray, PA) to face the Indians in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 11. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. Peters Township lost 20-6 in their recent league challenge against Bethel Park (Bethel Park, PA)
