In Friday's league outing, the host Las Vegas Wildcats softball team scored a nice 18-2 win over the Cheyenne Desert Shields.
Coming up next, the Wildcats battle the Legacy Longhorns (North Las Vegas, NV) in a 4A Mountain outing, on Wednesday, April 20. Las Vegas will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Longhorns enter the outing with a 14-3 record after their 17-1 league win over Western (Las Vegas, NV).
The Desert Shields (4-7) will now prepare for their outing against Durango (Las Vegas, NV). The Trailblazers enter the 4A Mountain outing with a 5-11 record.
