The crowd at Friday's league match between the Oak Ridge War Eagles (Conroe, TX) and the visiting Conroe Tigers (Conroe, TX), saw Oak Ridge's softball squad nip Conroe by a count of 5-2.

The War Eagles now sport a 11-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to The Woodlands for a 6A Region II District 13 match on Tuesday, April 12. Oak Ridge will face a Highlanders squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Atascocita (Humble, TX). The Highlanders record now stands at 14-9.

With the loss, Conroe falls to 6-20 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to College Park (The Woodlands, TX) to face the Cavaliers in a 6A Region II District 13 match on Thursday, April 14. The Cavaliers enter the match with a record of 17-4. College Park lost 9-4 in their recent league match against Willis (Willis, TX)
