The Elgin Wildcats softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Manor Mustangs to 0 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Elgin moves its record to 16-4 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Pflugerville Connally (Austin, TX) to clash with the Cougars in a 5A Region III District 18 game on Thursday, April 14. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 0-12.

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Hendrickson Hawks (Pflugerville, TX) in a 5A Region III District 18 game, on Tuesday, April 12. Manor will attempt to move on its 8-14 season record. The Hawks come into the game with a 4-15 record after their 9-4 league loss to Pflugerville (Pflugerville, TX).
