Rocky River Pirates (Rocky River, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Fairview Warriors (Fairview Park, OH), 15-5 in a league challenge.

The Pirates now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host North Olmsted for a Great Lakes challenge on Monday, April 11. Rocky River will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 9-5 non-league win over Gilmour Academy (Gates Mills, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Fairview falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Warriors host Bard Early College (Cleveland, OH) to battle the Raptors in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 9. The Raptors enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
