Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Forrest Rockets (Chapel Hill, TN) and the visiting Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL), witnessed Forrest's softball squad tip Hoover by a count of 6-4.

The Rockets now sport a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln County for a non-league match on Friday, April 8. Forrest will face a Falcons squad coming off a 8-1 league win over Tullahoma (Tullahoma, TN). The Falcons record now stands at 10-6.

With the loss, Hoover moves to 20-8 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Harpeth (Kingston Springs, TN) to face the Indians in a non-league match on Saturday, April 9. The Indians go into the match with a record of 3-5. Harpeth lost 8-3 in their recent non-league match against East Hamilton (Ooltewah, TN)
