Harding Raiders (Warren, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting McKinley Red Dragons (Niles, OH), 17-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Boardman for a All-American challenge on Monday, April 11. Harding will face a Spartans squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Aurora (Aurora, OH). The Spartans record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, McKinley falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Red dragons host Hubbard (Hubbard, OH) to face the Eagles in a Northeast Eight Athletic challenge on Monday, April 11. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. Hubbard won 13-2 in their recent league challenge against Jefferson Area (Jefferson, OH)
