Spectators at Friday's league match between the North Lincoln Knights (Lincolnton, NC) and the host Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC), witnessed North Lincoln's softball squad prevail over Hickory by a count of 10-1.

The Knights now sport a 10-6 record. They play next when they travel to North Iredell for a Western Foothills 3A match on Monday, April 11. North Lincoln will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 4-2 league loss to St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 4-10.

With the loss, Hickory moves to 3-11 on the season. The Red tornadoes travel to Patton (Morganton, NC) to meet the Panthers in a non-league match on Monday, April 11. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 7-6. Patton lost 15-2 in their recent league match against R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC)
