Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the West Point Warriors (Cullman, AL) and the visiting Holly Pond Broncos (Holly Pond, AL), witnessed West Point's softball squad prevail over Holly Pond by a count of 15-0.
The Warriors now sport a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Hayden for a non-league match on Monday, April 11. West Point will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Corner (Warrior, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-3.
With the loss, Holly Pond moves to 8-5 on the season. The Broncos host Susan Moore (Blountsville, AL) to meet the Bulldogs in a 3A Area 13 match on Monday, April 11. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 1-5.
