Texas High School Softball - Parkland bounces Horizon

The Parkland Matadors routed the host Horizon Scorpions softball team by a tally of 16-0 in Friday's league outing.

Coming up next, the Matadors battle the El Dorado Aztecs (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region I District 2 outing, on Tuesday, April 12. Parkland will attempt to upgrade on its 15-12 season record. The Aztecs enter the outing with a 9-21 record after their 23-16 league loss to Canutillo (Canutillo, TX).

The Scorpions (7-16) will now prepare for their outing against Hanks (El Paso, TX). The Knights enter the 5A Region I District 2 outing with a 28-3 record. In their last outing, Hanks ran past Del Valle (El Paso, TX), 15-1, in a league outing.
