Kennedale Wildcats (Kennedale, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Midlothian Heritage Jaguars (Midlothian, TX), 5-4 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they host Ranchview for a 4A Region II District 10 challenge on Tuesday, April 12. Kennedale will battle a Wolves squad coming off a 18-2 league loss to Ferris (Ferris, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 1-13.

With the loss, Midlothian Heritage falls to 12-10 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Ferris (Ferris, TX) to battle the Yellowjackets in a 4A Region II District 10 challenge on Tuesday, April 12. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a record of 7-5. Ferris won 18-2 in their recent league challenge against Ranchview (Irving, TX)
