The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Lauderdale County Tigers (Rogersville, AL) and the host Wilson Warriors (Florence, AL), saw Lauderdale County's softball squad nip Wilson by a count of 9-5.

The Tigers now sport a 15-13 record. They take the field next when they host Rogers for a non-league match on Saturday, April 9. Lauderdale County will face a Pirates squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Mars Hill Bible (Florence, AL). The Pirates record now stands at 8-9.

With the loss, Wilson falls to 7-7 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Central (Florence, AL) to face the Wildcats in a 4A Area 16 match on Monday, April 11. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 2-13. Central lost 6-3 in their recent non-league match against Lexington (Lexington, AL)
