Northeast Vikings (Arma, KS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Liberal Bulldogs (Liberal, MO), 14-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marmaton Valley for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 11. Northeast will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 14-1 non-league loss to Yates Center (Yates Center, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Liberal falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Archie (Archie, MO) to battle the Whirlwinds in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 19. The Whirlwinds enter the challenge with a record of 6-4. Archie won 16-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Kingsville (Kingsville, MO)
