Tri-Valley Bulldogs (Hegins, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Minersville Battlin' Miners (Minersville, PA), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Schuylkill Haven for a Schuylkill II challenge on Wednesday, April 13. Tri-Valley will battle a Hurricanes squad coming off a 12-10 league loss to Nativity BVM (Pottsville, PA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Minersville falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Battlin' miners travel to Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA) to battle the Comets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 9. The Comets enter the challenge with a record of 3-0. Abington Heights won 14-5 in their recent league challenge against Scranton (Scranton, PA)
