The Montgomery Central Timberwolves softball team (Troy, NC), was routed 12-2 in Friday's league test with the visiting North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC)

Coming up next, the Black Knights encounter the Oak Grove Grizzlies (Winston-Salem, NC) in a Mid-Piedmont 3A test, on Tuesday, April 12. North Davidson will attempt to improve on its 11-3 season record. The Grizzlies come into the test with a 7-5 record after their 6-3 league win over Asheboro (Asheboro, NC).

The Timberwolves (3-11) will now prepare for their test against Ledford (Thomasville, NC). The Panthers come into the Mid-Piedmont 3A test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Ledford overcame Central Davidson (Lexington, NC), 4-3, in a league test.
