The North Stanly Comets softball team (New London, NC), was routed 9-0 in Friday's league test with the host Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC)
Coming up next, the Tigers encounter the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) in a non-league test, on Monday, April 11. Mount Pleasant will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Wolf Pack come into the test with a 6-7 record after their 16-0 league win over Forest Hills (Marshville, NC).
The Comets (11-4) will now prepare for their test against West Stanly (Oakboro, NC). The Colts come into the non-league test with a 11-3 record. In their last test, West Stanly overcame Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 1-0, in a non-league test.
