The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Palmer Moose (Palmer, AK) and the host Thunder Mountain Falcons (Juneau, AK), saw Palmer's softball squad nip Thunder Mountain by a count of 7-3.

The Moose now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sitka for a non-league match on Friday, April 8. Palmer will face a Wolves squad coming off a 16-4 non-league win over Palmer (Palmer, AK). The Wolves record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Thunder Mountain falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Chugiak (Chugiak, AK) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Saturday, April 9. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 2-0.
