In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Conneaut Spartans baseball team scored a tight 12-8 victory over the Brookfield Warriors.
The Spartans (1-3) will now prepare for their game against St. John (Ashtabula, OH). The Fighting Herald go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, St. John was overwhelmed by Geneva (Geneva, OH), 11-1, in a non-league game.
The Warriors (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Crestview (Columbiana, OH). The Rebels go into the Mahoning Valley Athletic - Grey game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, Crestview tipped Memorial (Campbell, OH), 20-2, in a league game.
