The Carmel Greyhounds nudged the visiting Penn Kingsmen baseball team by a tally of 3-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Greyhounds now hold a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hamilton Southeastern for a non-league bout on Monday, April 10. Carmel will face a Royals team coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to Pendleton Heights (Pendleton, IN). The Royals record now stands at 4-4.
Next, the Kingsmen face the Schoolcraft Eagles (Schoolcraft, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 11. Penn will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 9-1 non-league loss to Watervliet (Watervliet, MI).
