The Milford Mavericks baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the host Churchill Chargers to 2 in the Mavericks non-league victory on Saturday.
The Mavericks (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Mott (Waterford, MI). The Corsairs go into the Lakes Valley match with a 0-1 record.
The Chargers (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Stevenson (Livonia, MI). The Spartans go into the Kensington Lakes - East match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Stevenson edged North Farmington (Farmington Hills, MI), 7-6, in a non-league match.
