The Cumberland County Panthers nudged the visiting Hart County Raiders baseball team by a tally of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Panthers now hold a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they host Monroe County for a non-league bout on Monday, April 10. Cumberland County will face a Falcons team coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Adair County (Columbia, KY). The Falcons record now stands at 2-5.
Next, the Raiders face the Bethlehem Eagles/Banshees (Bardstown, KY) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 10. Hart County will attempt to advance on its 10-8 season record. The Eagles/Banshees enter the bout with a 5-10 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Centreville (Clifton, VA).
