Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Evergreen Vikings (Metamora, OH) and the host Montpelier Locomotives (Montpelier, OH), saw Evergreen's baseball squad knock off Montpelier by a count of 15-4.

Coming up next, the Vikings play the Bryan Golden Bears (Bryan, OH) in a Northwest Ohio battle, on Thursday, April 13. Evergreen will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Golden Bears enter the battle with a 4-3 record after their 8-0 league win over Wauseon (Wauseon, OH).
