New Mexico High School Baseball - West Mesa loses to Farmington

The Farmington Scorpions crushed the visiting West Mesa Mustangs baseball team by a count of 8-1 in Saturday's league bout.
The Scorpions now possess a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Durango for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 11. Farmington will face a Demons team coming off a 7-2 non-league win over George Washington (Denver, CO). The Demons record now stands at 7-4.
Next, the Mustangs face the Piedra Vista Panthers (Farmington, NM) in a 5A District 2 bout, on Saturday, April 15. West Mesa will attempt to move on its 7-12 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 13-7 record after their 6-2 league loss to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM).
