Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Jennings County Panthers (North Vernon, IN) and the visiting Washington Hatchets (Washington, IN), saw Jennings County's baseball squad edge Washington by a count of 8-7.

Coming up next, the Panthers play the Silver Creek Dragons (Sellersburg, IN) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 11. Jennings County will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Dragons enter the battle with a 4-2 record after their 10-0 league win over Salem (Salem, IN).

The Hatchets now possess a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mt. Vernon for a Pocket battle on Tuesday, April 11. Washington will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 14-13 non-league win over Carmi-White County (Carmi, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-3.
