The Los Alamitos Griffins baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Palos Verdes Sea Kings to 2 in the Griffins non-league victory on Saturday.
The Griffins (13-6) will now prepare for their match against Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA). The Sailors go into the non-league match with a 7-10 record. In their last match, Newport Harbor was overwhelmed by Brea Olinda (Brea, CA), 2-1, in a non-league match.
The Sea Kings (13-8) will now prepare for their match against Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA). The Mustangs go into the Bay match with a 10-11 record. In their last match, Mira Costa was overwhelmed by Liberty (Peoria, AZ), 7-2, in a non-league match.
