In Saturday's league game, the visiting Rio Grande Ravens baseball team scored a tight 5-0 victory over the Manzano Monarchs.
The Ravens (11-6) will now prepare for their game against Manzano (Albuquerque, NM). The Monarchs go into the 5A District 5 game with a 5-11 record. In their last game, Manzano was overwhelmed by Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM), 17-3, in a league game.
The Monarchs (5-13) will now prepare for their game against Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM). The Ravens go into the 5A District 5 game with a 9-6 record. In their last game, Rio Grande tipped Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM), 14-1, in a non-league game.
