The North Saxons held off the visiting Tustin Tillers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Saxons now have a 13-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Torrance for a Pioneer test on Wednesday, April 12. North will confront a Tartars team coming off a 3-0 league win over Lawndale (Lawndale, CA). The Tartars record now stands at 9-10.

The Tillers (15-10) will now prepare for their test against Kennedy (La Palma, CA). The Fighting Irish enter the Empire test with a 8-13 record. In their last test, Kennedy was nudged by Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
