Connecticut High School Lacrosse - Newtown drops to Amity Regional

In Saturday's non-league test, the host Amity Regional Spartans lacrosse squad scored a tight 13-8 victory over the Newtown Nighthawks.
The Spartans now have a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Xavier for a Southern Connecticut test on Tuesday, April 11. Amity Regional will face a Falcons squad coming off a 17-3 league win over West Haven (West Haven, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 2-0.
In their next game, the Nighthawks face the Masuk Panthers (Monroe, CT) in a South West test, on Tuesday, April 11. Newtown will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 2-1 record after their 12-9 league loss to Pomperaug (Southbury, CT).
