The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Chippewa Chipps (Doylestown, OH) and the host Manchester Panthers (Akron, OH), saw Chippewa's softball squad nip Manchester by a count of 4-1.

The Chipps now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Norwayne for a Wayne County match on Tuesday, April 11.

With the loss, Manchester falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Orrville (Orrville, OH) to face the Red Riders in a Principals Athletic match on Monday, April 10. The Red Riders enter the match with a record of 2-4. Orrville lost 10-0 in their recent non-league match against Dalton (Dalton, OH)
