Edgerton Bulldogs (Edgerton, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Montpelier Locomotives (Montpelier, OH), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hilltop for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 2.

With the loss, Montpelier falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Locomotives travel to Edon (Edon, OH) to face the Bombers in a Buckeye Border challenge on Tuesday, April 11. The Bombers enter the challenge with a record of 0-6. Edon lost 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Pettisville (Pettisville, OH)
