Lakeview Honkers (Lakeview, OR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Glide Wildcats (Glide, OR), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Honkers now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Modoc for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 11. Lakeview will face a Braves squad coming off a 5-4 league win over Etna (Etna, CA). The Braves record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, Glide falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to South Umpqua (Myrtle Creek, OR) to face the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 13. The Lancers enter the challenge with a record of 4-0.
