In their next game, the Hawks play the Newcomb Skyhawks (Newcomb, NM) in a 3A District 1 contest, on Tuesday, April 11. Thoreau will attempt to move on its 0-8 season record. The Skyhawks come into the contest with a 2-5 record after their 11-4 non-league loss to Rehoboth Christian (Rehoboth, NM).
