The Judson Rockets (Converse, TX) softball nipped the host San Marcos Rattlers (San Marcos, TX), 7-6 in Saturday's league bout.

The Rockets (15-12) will now prepare for their bout against Steele (Cibolo, TX). The Knights go into the 6A Region IV District 27 bout with a 12-9 record. In their last bout, Steele was edged by East Central (San Antonio, TX), 7-5, in a league bout.

The Rattlers now possess a 6-19 record. They play next when they travel to New Braunfels for a 6A Region IV District 27 bout on Tuesday, April 11. San Marcos will confront a Unicorns squad coming off a 8-5 league loss to Clemens (Schertz, TX). The Unicorns record now stands at 15-13.
