The Sundown Roughnecks (Sundown, TX) softball routed the visiting Lockney Longhorns (Lockney, TX), 17-1 in Saturday's league bout.
The Roughnecks (17-5) will now prepare for their bout against Lockney (Lockney, TX). The Longhorns go into the 2A Region I District 3 bout with a 9-11 record. In their last bout, Lockney was routed by Hale Center (Hale Center, TX), 12-4, in a league bout.
The Longhorns now possess a 9-13 record. They play next when they travel to Sundown for a 2A Region I District 3 bout on Saturday, April 8. Lockney will confront a Roughnecks squad coming off a 9-2 league loss to Ralls (Ralls, TX). The Roughnecks record now stands at 15-5.
