Ohio High School Softball - Steele bounces Mentor

Steele Comets (Amherst, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Mentor Cardinals (Mentor, OH), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Comets now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host North Olmsted for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 10. Steele will face a Eagles squad coming off a 10-5 league win over Bay (Bay Village, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Mentor falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Walsh Jesuit (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) to face the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 10. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 3-0.
