Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Wauconda Bulldogs (Wauconda, IL) and the visiting Rockford Auburn Knights (Rockford, IL), witnessed Wauconda's softball squad tip Rockford Auburn by a count of 13-7.

The Bulldogs now sport a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Round Lake for a Northern Lake County match on Monday, April 10. Wauconda will face a Panthers squad coming off a 31-1 league loss to Lakes (Lake Villa, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Rockford Auburn moves to 2-3 on the season. The Knights travel to Jefferson (Rockford, IL) to face the J-Hawks in a Northern Illinois NIC-9 match on Monday, April 10. The J-Hawks go into the match with a record of 0-2. Jefferson lost 15-5 in their recent non-league match against Winnebago (Winnebago, IL)
