The Charlton County Indians crushed the host Atkinson County Rebels baseball team by a count of 15-2 in Monday's league bout.
The Indians now possess a 18-1 record. They take the field next when they host Clinch County for a 1A D-II Area 2 battle on Tuesday, April 9. Charlton County will play a Panthers squad coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Wheeler County (Alamo, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 13-11.
The Rebels now sport a 10-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Turner County for a 1A D-II Area 2 battle on Tuesday, April 9. Atkinson County will play a Titans squad coming off a 8-1 non-league win over CHESS Academy (Tifton, GA). The Titans record now stands at 5-15.
