In Monday's non-league game, the host Augusta Panthers baseball team scored a tight 7-4 victory over the Paris Greyhounds.
The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their game against St. Patrick (Maysville, KY). The Saints go into the District 39 game with a 0-0 record.
The Greyhounds (6-5) will now prepare for their game against George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY). The Cardinals go into the District 40 game with a 7-7 record. In their last game, George Rogers Clark tipped Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY), 11-1, in a league game.
