In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Chilhowie Warriors baseball team scored a nice 14-1 victory over the J.I. Burton Black Raiders.

The Warriors (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Northwood (Saltville, VA). The Panthers go into the Hogoheegee game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Northwood was overwhelmed by Johnson County (Mountain City, TN), 20-2, in a non-league game.

The Black Raiders (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Twin Springs (Nickelsville, VA). The Titans go into the Cumberland game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Twin Springs was overwhelmed by Holston (Damascus, VA), 10-7, in a non-league game.
