Spectators at Monday's league battle between the Hopewell Titans (Huntersville, NC) and the visiting West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC), saw Hopewell's baseball squad knock off West Mecklenburg by a count of 10-0.

Coming up next, the Titans play the Providence Panthers (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 11. Hopewell will attempt to move on its 13-3 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 12-3 record after their 14-3 league win over Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC).

The Hawks now possess a 4-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Berry for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 10. West Mecklenburg will play a Cardinal squad coming off a 28-5 non-league win over Garinger (Charlotte, NC). The Cardinal record now stands at 3-13.
