The James Wood Colonels baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Liberty Eagles to 2 in the Colonels league victory on Monday.

The Colonels (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Broad Run (Ashburn, VA). The Spartans go into the non-league match with a 2-1 record.

The Eagles (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Warren County (Front Royal, VA). The Wildcats go into the Northwestern match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Warren County tipped Skyline (Front Royal, VA), 3-2, in a league match.
