The La Plata Warriors baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the host McDonough Rams to 2 in the Warriors league victory on Monday.
The Warriors (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD). The Cavaliers go into the Southern Maryland match with a 0-4 record.
The Rams (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD). The Raiders go into the Southern Maryland match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Leonardtown tipped St. Charles (Waldorf, MD), 11-1, in a league match.
