The Salida Spartans baseball team (Salida, CO), was overwhelmed 11-1 in Monday's league outing with the host Manitou Springs Mustangs (Manitou Springs, CO)

The Mustangs now hold a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Salida for a 3A Tri-Peaks outing on Monday, April 8. Manitou Springs will confront a Spartans team coming off a 9-7 non-league loss to Bayfield (Bayfield, CO). The Spartans record now stands at 1-2.
