The Huntington Park Spartans volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Roosevelt Rough Riders to 1 in the Spartans league victory on Monday.

The Spartans now have a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Gate for a game on Wednesday, April 10. Huntington Park will confront a Rams team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Garfield (Los Angeles, CA). The Rams record now stands at 4-3.

The Rough Riders (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Legacy (South Gate, CA). The Tigers enter the game with a 4-7 record. In their last game, Legacy was nudged by South East (South Gate, CA), 2-0, in a league game.
