The Merced Bears volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Central Valley Hawks to 1 in the Bears league victory on Monday.

The Bears now possess a 14-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to El Capitan for a Central California Conference game on Wednesday, April 10. Merced will meet a Gauchos team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Atwater (Atwater, CA). The Gauchos record now stands at 14-9.

The Hawks (5-13) will now prepare for their game against Buhach Colony (Atwater, CA). The Thunder enter the Central California Conference game with a 13-3 record. In their last game, Buhach Colony defeated Livingston (Livingston, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
