The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) and the host Trinity Christian Eagles (Sacramento, CA), saw Placer's volleyball squad nip Trinity Christian by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Placer upgrades its record to 2-16 on the year. The Hillmen host Oakmont (Roseville, CA) to play the Vikings in a Foothill Valley bout on Tuesday, April 9. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 4-8. Oakmont lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA)

The Eagles now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Del Campo for a non-league bout on Monday, April 15. Trinity Christian will play a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Mesa Verde (Citrus Heights, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 10-14.
