With the win, Waverly upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season.

With the defeat, Crete falls to 1-7 on the season. The Cardinals host Norris (Firth, NE) to battle the Titans in a test on Saturday, April 13. The Titans come into the test with a record of 4-6. Norris won 13-5 in their recent non-league test against Malcolm (Malcolm, NE)
