The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Hand Tigers (Madison, CT) and the host Amity Regional Spartans (Woodbridge, CT), saw Hand's lacrosse team nudge Amity Regional by a margin of 10-9.

The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Branford (Branford, CT). The Hornets enter the Southern Connecticut challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Branford edged Sheehan (Wallingford, CT), 9-6, in a league challenge.

The Spartans (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cheshire (Cheshire, CT). The Rams enter the Southern Connecticut challenge with a 2-0 record.
