In Monday's non-league test, the visiting Davie War Eagles lacrosse squad scored a tight 13-7 win over the Southwest Guilford Cowboys.
The War Eagles (4-8) will now prepare for their match against Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC). The Spartans go into the Central Piedmont match with a 1-10 record. In their last match, Mount Tabor was overwhelmed by East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC), 16-5, in a league match.
The Cowboys (5-7) will now prepare for their match against Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Nighthawks go into the Metro match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Northern Guilford was overwhelmed by Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 17-1, in a league match.
